If you want to win at Poker, the most important thing is your playing style – an effective Poker playing style will put you ahead of other players in a way that cannot be replicated by any of the numerous short-cuts available on the Internet. You will surely receive e-mails promising you that if you sign up to a certain program (usually costing a bit of money) you will make back what you spend, multiplied by something high. That would mean that you can buy money at a profit – unfortunately, you can't. It's impossible. To win at Poker more often than anyone else, you need to be a good player.
So what is the best playing style in online Poker? If you could find that out, you'd become very rich over a short period of time, wouldn't you? Is there a single, fixed style of play that will win every game that you play? No. Even 75% of games? Again, no. There simply isn't a quick fix here, otherwise the credit crunch could be fixed tomorrow by bankers and governments taking that playing style and winning enough money to pay off all the bad debts in the world. We'd all be rich and it would be fantastic – and online casinos would go out of business overnight.

You will be able to bet confidently, and you'll win quite often. Not always. Not even nearly always. You need to spot the players who bet too often, the players who never bet unless they're quite certain of winning, and the players who always get to the last few hands but rarely win. Once you've spotted that, you've got your style – the correct playing style is to not tie yourself down to one style while recognising those who do.
