Avid poker players and just those who like to watch are no doubt anticipating what WSOP has in store for 2010.

To begin with this coming year with be the 41st annual WSOP event. It’s all set to start on the 27th May and entertain many a poker fan through to July 17th. Once again there are 57 bracelets to be awarded to the best of the best.

There is a flurry of excitement wrapped around these bracelets with  the Players Championship buy in for $50,000.The winner can expect to receive the Chip Reese Trophy. As the fun continues to June 30th where the $25,000 no limit hold’em tournament will be played.

For many that are just beginning to show an interest in poker they have some knowledge about the WSOP being the most significant gaming venue in the gambling industry. Its quite often spectators of this event that finds the money to be most inviting and becomes the promoting factor into their participation into the poker sites. Many aspiring poker players have the dream of entering into the WSOP. This is now becoming more of a reality with buy ins become more within the reach of others.

The WSOP is not something new or expected to vanish anytime soon. It is the longest running tournament in the world when it comes to Poker. Players come from all over the world to participate. So needless to say the competition is fierce.

Its always enjoyable to watch how quickly people form their favorites and eagerly support their attempts at becoming the number one. With the buy ins being more attainable this year there is no doubt that the game of poker is going to draw many new players. Perhaps they won’t be entering the WSOP try outs but they will be joining the numerous online poker sites in the hopes of perfecting their skills.
