This predetermined amount of money ensures that there should be money always in play.  The betting begins when two cards with face down are dealt to each of the player. The players are given option to raise, call or fold the bet.

After each player is given chance, the dealer discards the top card which is called burn card in such a way that no one knows which card is discarded. Now it is time to place three community cards with their face up on the center of the table which is called flop. Another round of betting starts and a total of five community cards are placed. Players now have an option to make best five-card hand using five community cards on the table and two cards in their hand.

The betting is done on flop by players. After completion of betting it’s time for dealer to burn a card (discarding a top card) and also flip one more community card which is called turn. Another round of betting is done before one final community card is flipped which is called river. Now there are five community cards and two hold cards in hands of each player, with these cards the player who makes the best combination is the winner.
