Below we lay out the different combinations possible in poker, from high to low:

Royal flush
The five highest cards from Ace to 10 (the highest street), which are also of the same figure (called: suited).
Example:
ace of spadesking of spadesqueen of spadesjack of spades10 of spades

Straight flush
Five cards which combine to a street and which are also of the same figure (they are suited).
Example:
6 of hearts5 of hearts4 of hearts3 of hearts2 of hearts

four of a kind
Four of the same kind/type of cards.
Example:
9 of hearts9 of diamonds9 of spades9 of clubs

full house
Three cards of the same kind/type (three of a kind) combined with two cards of the same kind/type (a pair).
Example:
queen of heartsqueen of spadesqueen of diamonds10 of hearts10 of spades

In case more players have a full house, the winner will be determined by identifying the highest three of a kind and then by the highest pair.

flush
Five cards of the same figure (suited).
Example:
ace of heartsjack of hearts9 of hearts6 of hearts2 of hearts

In case more players have a flush, the winner is determined by the highest card. The above is for example a flush "Ace-high".

Straight
Five successive cards.
Example:
10 of hearts9 of spades8 of diamonds7 of clubs6 of hearts

In case more players have a straight, the winner is determined by the highest card.

Three of a kind
Three cards of the same.
Example:
9 of spades9 of diamonds9 of clubs

two pair
Two times two cards of the same kind, in other words two pairs.
Example:
ace of diamondsace of clubs10 of diamonds10 of spades

In case more players have two pair, the winner is first determined by the highest pair, then by the lowest.

One Pair
Two cards of the same kind, in other words a couple.
Example:
queen of diamondsqueen of clubs

High card
If none of the players have any of the above mentioned combinations, the highest card determines the winner, from high to low: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10 till 2
