Everest is a reasonably young poker site which has grown exponential in the last few years. It is now one of the biggest 5 poker sites in the world. One of the main reasons for it’s success is the fact that this poker site offers its services in many different languages. Other poker sites discovered their reason for success and are now starting to offer their site in various languages as well. In other words, we have to thank Everest for the fact that nowadays poker sites are offered in so many languages.
Due to the recent new legislation in the US, Everest Poker has decided to not accepting players from the US on their site anymore. Because this group of players was never huge a part of their total players community, this has not significantly influenced the number of visitors
Bonuses and promotions
You can get a maximum bonus of $500 at Everest if you deposit a minumum of $5!
For every 100 points you`ll earn you will get $7 dollar of your bonus.

For every pot you play with real money the site holds in rake and gives you a certain number (depending on at which limits you’re playing) of summit points. When you play with real money this bonus is easily played free. In case you don’t want to make a deposit you can try to get real money by participating in a free roll or a Shasta. First winning a free roll and using that to get the $100 bonus might take some time though. Making a small deposit and play the required raked hands with that is way faster and absolutely easy (when you follow our instructions).
Everest Poker does not do standard reload bonuses, but it does reward loyal players in other ways. The more you’ve played in the month before the higher your bonus will become. For this you do not even have to make a deposit. You just need to get as much summit points as possible. Every month each individual player will get it’s personal bonus code send through email in the monthly newsletter. This bonus will not be paid out in portions, but as a whole at once. For this you’ll have four weeks time.
About the summit points: Every player gets 1 summit point for every $1 rake taken by the poker site. For every hand you can earn 3 summit points max. The first two players who will visit a new table will get the double number of summit points. When participating at a tournament you’ll get 8 summit points for every dollar of buy-in money. You can use summit points to pay for participation in tournaments and you can also play for summit points with other players!
Software
The software of EverestPoker differs from the other sites. It is developed by Grand Virtual. It looks very good and it is very fast. Besides that EverestPoker offers its services in different languages, which will make understanding of the site and general communication way easier for people who do not speak English very well. There are also extended statistics available, for example percentage of players for every flop, average size of a pot, amount of cash of every player at the table, number of hands per hour and hand-history. At the table you can also check the statistics of your own game and make extended notes about other players. On top of that there’s the possibility to play on 8 tables at the same time!
For the beginning players Everest Poker has arranged a special training department, which will enable them to learn more about the game before proceeding with playing against other opponents.
Games offered
Right now EverestPoker only offers the Texas Holdem variant of poker with a focus on No-Limit, although the number of limit players is increasing. As far as understood the idea is that very soon Everest will also offer Omaha and Seven Card Stud. The limits you can play are between very low till medium high (the highest are $10/$20 limit and $2,000 No limit). EverestPoker is also known for their satellites for the EPT and WPT tournaments and for their large tournaments with very low buy-ins.
Every year Everest Poker also organizes the European Poker Cup, a huge tournament in which the best player of every country are competing against each other. You can participate for free at special tournaments for wild-cards and in this way compete for the huge prize pot. On top of that Everest also organizes the Avalanche tournament which has a guaranteed prize pot of $1,000,000!
Then there are the free rolls. These are games in which you can win money without actually betting money. Also these free rolls are very popular. Number of players

Lost a big pile of cash recently at the higher limits of Everest though managed to win most of it back by playing NL10! To me this happened various times at Everest. Haven't made a big stag here yet though so far haven't lost a lot either...
