This player is a maniac, stats 82/30 with a WTSD of 36%, which is extremely high for someone who plays 8 out of 10 hands, normal is about 25% (for a player who plays 20-30% of his hands)

Do you want to keep him in here or get the money in here and possible scare him off? I think I would throw in a raise here to show some strenghth vs shortstack in case he has a bigger flush and target manaiac. How much will he call here? Just a min raise will put the pressure on shortiestackie and might get mailo55 to rereaise for your last 30? Is this too greedy/tricky and should you just shove here?

yeah I should have reraised here, with all the draws out there and given he is a maniac he would call with a wide range of hands. Anyway, I just called which is a mistake I think

a lot of crazy players will never fold top pair,
so if he is one of those then it didn't really matter how you played it,
the end result would have been the same.

and I have not seen many players who would fold two pair,
so your only good shot would have been to make a huge bet on the flop or go allin.

I agree, in this case it wouldn`t have mattered, but if he has a draw, he might be willing to go all-in on the turn, whereas if he misses on the river he won`t put more money in the pot. That`s why I think its better to push the turn.
