I think AK is in his range, QQ+/AK most likely. You have to call 1.75, which means you could call for set value, (you hit your set 1 in 8 times, so you have to win 7*1.75=$12.25 on average when you hit) but its pretty close and you`re OOP so you don`t lose much by folding.

How do you feel about calling a reraise with a small pocket pair vs big stack villain .. you know he's going to lose alot if you hit .. so that evens it up on the long run.

check out this article: this article

basically you need to win on average 7 times the amount you call, since you`ll hit 1 in 8 times. So you need to think about how much you expect to win when you hit. If your opponent has a very tight range, KK/AA for example, then thats actually a good thing, since you`ll probably stack him if you hit and if you don`t hit its an easy fold. You have to take into account though that about 1 in 49 times you`ll both hit your set and you`ll stack off, so that brings you`re average winnings down a bit.

Im staarting to shipit more theses days with JJ or better in these reraise types of spots.I think you are going to lose sometimes vs QQ/KK/AA but holding pockets vs pokets is less likly i think than AK. I am finding alot of players raising or reraising w 66+ too. Hopefully AK folds and you dont have to race but 99/1010 is calling probly and again you have set possibilites too. Here is my hand from yesterday

Yeah this situation is a bit different, you`re not full stacked and the two callers make this squeeze more profitable...again, it all depends on the stats

Yeah 40 BB's is not too big but Im still shipping now 100 BB's I used to see the flop and get pushed off my better hand alot. This slam it in attitude is really working out for me lately. Amazed what players are calling with. Opening up more has made me more profitable and decided that if I wasnt comfortable shipping in with JJ or better I should move down lower stakes. Allinn JJ to reckless you think? Still in experiment mode with this concept and so far so good but if I happen to even touch the red side of my profit Im going to most likly only ship pre with KK/AA. If you see its 1.75 to see a flop with JJ I dont think I can fold here and if flop has over QK or Ace then you will probly have to fold to a bet. Earlier HH has players 4 betting QK so like you said I think it depends on stats but everyone is going to 4 bet 99 + most likly too so really I guess you need to know your opponent. Bart only underdog to 3 hands at this point.
