villain makes min raise from mp. this doesnt fit high pp, so doubt trips. poss A/10 or 10/9 for str8. next worst case scenario puts villain on flush AND str8 draws, which puts y'all close to even. o/w, u are ahead with any other holding. pot is $2.35, and villain makes a near pot-sized bet of $2. i would reraise to make him pay to chase, since you are favorite or even against all but two holdings.

You probably have the best hand right now, but there are a ton of cards that kill you, any diamond, a T, an A, a J, a 9. Question is, if you reraise, what hands that you beat are gonna call you? I think a bunch of combodraws and maybe QJ/JK. I think you can reraise, but it`s not a very profitable spot.

I did think about raising but the table was full of flush monkeys so I thought I would see another one and if no draw hit then go from there.

board didnt change, so I would raise. He is betting for the same reason he is betting the flop I assume.

Don't like these spots at all, reraising is never going to be very profitable, because you won't be called by many worse hands and there are not many hands that will fold that have cbet this extremely wet board in the first place.

So I would just call, same on turn, he could still be betting very good draw which makes calling +EV I guess. River is very difficult though, cause you're not committed.

The 2h could have helped him with a draw. He could also hold the nuts already are be protecting a set.

I think at NL25 you will get called by worse hands, players tend to focus on the absolute value of their hand, when they hit something they have trouble letting go. So I think you`ll get called to FDs, AK,AA, KJ, JQ maybe even AQ, JT,QT,KT. KK/QQ is unlikely only 1 possible hand combo for both.

@ Japmaster

agree on the letting go problem of villains, but it still is full ring and villain opened in early position, let's just stove it

Let's assume he's opening:
88+
AKs-A10s, KQs, KJs, QJs
AKo, AQo

On the flop he let's go of the 88, 99

pokerstove:
hero 57.355%
villain 42.645%

so that seems quite ok

he`ll probably fold AJ and maybe AQ as well

but for fun, lets say its 50/50 if he calls, that would still make the move profitable, coz you`ll pick up the pot when he folds. Question is: is it more profitable to call? Though to say, headsup maybe, but with 4 ppl on the flop there is a pretty big change you`ll get outdrawn if you are ahead. And if your behind you`ll prob call another turn bet if a blank comes.

Because of my stack size here If I call I and call again at river Ill have 2 bucks left in my stack. If I raise Im also commited so I hoped that if anyone had me beat it was the smaller of the two stacks and decided to shove it. If I had a larger stack I think I will just call but hard to say for sure. This was a very tough spot for me on a very fishy table.

yeah its a tricky spot for sure, in the sense that its a close call, the good thing about these spots, is that because its so close, you can`t make big mistakes
