Hello all,

How are you playing high prize pool?

I decided to play it tight but that's not work for me, get alwais crap when i play tight

my style is agressive player, but for high prize poll i don't play agressive ... limit scared money ...

Do u play ur game normaly or do an other strategy for high prize pool ?

when i play tight i don't play so much hand, i don't have so much chip, and i'm alwais easy called by other players...

Yesterday again my AA cracked by KJ and i was out

My tacs was: playing tight --> 5000 players after play agressive;

+/15000 players but was out 9000 players

How do you play it and what you thing ?
I need to take the risk whith for exemple king of heartsqueen of hearts to call it: (4 hand) he 3-4bet any post flop and move all in on the flop ? blind 50-100 stack: him: 2200 me 2900 pot 850

Flop: 7 of hearts4 of spades3 of spades

I folded but I think I needed to call it :\

In these big tournaments you need to start tight, wait for big hands like AA/KK and play those aggressively. Try to see some cheap flops in position with high implied odds hands like pocket pairs and suited connectors, trying to hit a big hand.

As the tournament progresses and the stack sizes become smaller then 20BBs you need to start stealing the blinds aggressively and you need to start re stealing to put pressure on other players who try to steal.

About your hand, please post the full handhistory in the handhistory section.

Unfortunately I have bad experience for a while. I used to play tight, only with big hands at the beginning, but I faced players with 3 of hearts6 of clubs vs king of diamondsking of clubs , or 6 of diamondsjack of hearts vs ace of heartsace of spades and they limped until they had straight or two pairs against my very high hands
I always decide not to get angry in these situations but is quite hard to keep on playing calm
Anyway not is specific to be beaten by players who are based only on luck, but it's difficult to play with them. There is no strategy against them
So Elite, just keep on playing, sometimes we win, sometimes not. Good luck!
