He played it cool and got paid for it. Hard to let go of a set though.

But his checkin back on the turn made me believe that he ddnt have them. And my reraise on the river.. i dont like to call off a big chunk of my stack , i would rather lose all of them. I know its crazy.

Japmaster Registered at 2006-06-12 Posts: 2079	I think you should have bet on the flop, you are most likely ahead (only AK/QQ and unlikely T9 beat you) and you don`t want to risk giving a free card (any spade/9/K ruin your hand). You fear he has AK, but fear is a bad adviser. The pot is 2 big to fold for the strength of your hand, so you should play it as if you have the nuts.
