There's been a lot of reports about this lately.

It seems it was one of the principal topics during the online poker hearing

You can check it here

Unfortunantely there isn't a lot of information there.

They need to hit the cheaters hard and fast. If the players don't feel safe, traffic will go down.

This was a horrible year for online poker

It is a pity that there is no mention in that article about what they discussed.

I really hope they do. This only hurts the game we love.

There will always be people who will try to abuse the system. They need to come up with hefty fines and even prison sentences.

To do this they need to make some sort of legislation global, so they can stop those Russian rings too.

At least, penalize the rooms, for lacking protection against this abuse.

I always thought the networks would have some sort of protection against this. This is terrible, especially if its that bad.

They have to protect the players. With so many rooms to choose from, the players will go where they will feel safe.

And if you consider the market they are targeting now.

Nice find. Probably should be a topic on its own. I agree with what they are saying and seems to me it's a good decision.

Might be a good idea to warn the rooms for these "jobs". If they check them, maybe thet could improve their defenses against bots.

This would be easy, just send the job links to them.

I wonder if they would care, bot or not, it generates rake.

That's what happened on PartyPoker. 5 days after they were warned to resolve the problem

That's a terrible policy. Like SimonsQQ said, if the players don't feel safe, they will leave the room.

Exactly. That's why the rooms have people dedicated to security.

If they let this happen, they are doing a poor job or worse....
