Being a player at Full Tilt and still waiting for an outcome and also not knowing whether or not you will ever see your money again makes you seriously wonder if you want to commit any money to internet poker again. How do you know if your poker site of choice is safe? You don't. Just when you finally make into that $250,000.00 tournament, POOF, sorry we're closed...lol. As funny as that may sound the seriousness of it is that it probably happened to more than one player and other players ended up in even worse situations. Funny thing is though seems like all the pros who owned a chunk of Full Tilt, with the exception of a couple of them, made deals to get their money back while all us normal players got the shaft, yes I'm talking about you Phil Ivey. There's not much you can do though against multi-million dollar owners who just take the money and run because in the end they are the only real winners in the internet gambling game.

they expect have this situation resolved soon. They even got their secondary license renewed, so the market still respects them.

About Phil Ivey, it seems he owes money to FTP.

Well if this is really true, it paints this situation in another colour.

I wonder if FTP response was what mede him withdraw the lawsuit?

I believe he simply withdraw it because he didn't think he would win.

Talk about hypocrite

His image sure was hurt with all this. Poker doesn't need this, it's scandal after scandal and it only hurts us players.

After the Black Friday, we can't trust in any poker room. At least, I don't. I used to think that FT and Stars were the best poker rooms out there. Stars proved they are the best room after the Black Friday, but I don't trust 100% on them anymore. I guess the thing is to not let a big amount of money on the poker rooms.

I agree. I think is better to withdraw all your winnings and leaving the necessary to play.

Pokerstars is pretty good. However, since black friday there promotions and freerolls have become non-existent. It is really a shame what happened to poker. Poker is a game of strategy and should be treated as a sport like golf where people can buy into a tournament and receive payment if they are good enough. It makes you wonder why golf is allowed by the US Government and poker not.
