Was playing a 10seat Multi-table NL Holdem tournament on Titan a few days ago. The game was running smooth had a fairly passive table and was raking in the chips. i was Chip Leader on just over 30k chips and only 35 of us left in play. I get dealt Q9 os in the big blind folds round to the cut-off who limps, Button calls, Sb calls i Check. Flop Comes down 8 10 J Rainbow, SB checks i bet half the pot the cut off folds button moves in for 20k in chips. SB folds im looking at the nuts and obviously have to call. Button shows A7 of clubs, Then hits running clubs for a flush.
OUCH!!!!!
Next hand i'm in the small blind and pick up black kings, few callers in mid position gets around to the cut off ( same guy who just sucked out ) Who shoves all in. i insta call the limpers fold and he shows QJ os
Flop comes down K 4 5 Turn card A River 10
And thats my story of how i went from chip leader with good chances of the final table to Out just short of the bubble.
