One of the most important things in poker is to have a good management of your bankroll Players who have a good bankroll management will never go bankrupt, and will slowly work themselves up in the various limits. If you, however, play on limits which are not really suitable for your bankroll one bad beat can cost you a big part of your bankroll That eventually can make you tilt and lose your whole bankroll
Players who have a good bankroll management will always play for a small percentage of their bankroll thus if they do have bad luck sometimes, they don't get in trouble with their full finances, and can even keep playing on the same limits. Once you'll have a good bankroll management you will only laugh about bad beats, because you're realizing yourself you're a winning player in the end anyway.

The higher the limits you play, the bigger the swings are. That makes sense of course, as the opponents will play better and more aggressive, the higher the levels are.

To make it easy for you we have made an overview (please see below) which will give you an estimation of which limits are suitable for your bankroll It also shows you when you can move up a limit or when you should move down.

Using the overview below, you will probably never have to move down and eventually play on higher limits, every once in a while. It enables you to take some time to get used to each higher limit whenever you move up. As a result, playing itself will be much more relaxed, because even if you lose your complete buy-in during one game, it is just a small percentage of your bankroll and thus won't do that much harm. This will help you in your decision making, which of course is good for your win rate
